Hi everyone,

Here's the info about the CTE meeting.  It's in north Baltimore, 8:30-3pm,
and the "CS Program of Study" session is from 11:20-12:20 on the draft
agenda.  I would suggest that we have Jennifer attend.  I am not sure
whether there will be an opportunity for us to actually present anything or
whether it's just "be there to represent an alternative", but I feel that
if we can have a presence representing both MCCE and CS Matters, it is a
good thing.

Jennifer, if you agree, then I would email Marquita and Lynne indicating
that Jamie had talked to them about having us attend, we would be glad to
do so, Jennifer will be there, and let us know what we can prepare or
provide in the way of presentations, handouts, etc.  Just making sure that
they really are aware and willing to have us come.

I assume that you would need to register like anybody else -- there is a
$20 registration fee that UMBC can cover (probably easiest to have you pay
and then we can reimburse you for that, along with mileage if you want to
submit that at the same time, after the event).

I find it mildly (OK, quite) disturbing that this event is build as the
"Career Technology Education / Project Lead the Way Counselors' Conference"
and that it is co-branded by MSDE and PLTW.  But it is what it is.
