Impact of Informational Characteristics of the Recruitment Website on
Graduating Students' Job Pursuit Intention: A Moderated Mediation Study
Chetna Priyadarshini (IBS Hyderabad, IFHE University, Hyderabad, India),
Sreejesh S. (School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and
Technology, Kochi, India), Rajneesh Ranjan Jha (IBS Hyderabad, IFHE
University, Hyderabad, India)
The purpose of this article is to examine the dimensionalities, mechanisms,
and the conditions under which information characteristics of the corporate
employment website influence job seekers' job pursuit intention and
recommendation intention. Drawing on the stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R)
framework, the data collected from 181 active job seekers posit that the
effects of information characteristics, such as information relevancy,
information accuracy, and information timeliness on organizational
attractiveness are mediated by job seekers' attitudes towards the website,
which in turn direct to create job pursuit intention and intention to
recommend. Furthermore, it is also postulated that the relationship between
the above-said characteristics and attitude towards the website is
moderated by the perceived privacy concern of the job seekers. In addition,
the article results also supported that the relationship between job
seekers' website attitude and organizational attractiveness is moderated by
perceived organizational reputation.

Towards a Reference Framework for Generational Analyses on Information
Technology Professionals
Pedro Jácome de Moura Jr. (UFPB, João Pessoa, Brazil), Diogo Henrique Helal
(FUNDAJ-MEC, Recife, Brazil)
In light of the sociology of generations, this theoretical trial relates
literature on information technology (IT) professionals, IT professional
management, IT project teams, and generational studies to elaborate a
reference framework that supports the research on the intergenerational
dynamics of the field. The proposed framework offers a definition and
structure for the concept of IT generation and contemplates the dimensions
related to (1) technological contemporary changes, (2) culture bearers, (3)
continuous nature of generational change, (4) generational succession, (5)
knowledge transmission and sharing, and (6) intergenerational conflict,
allowing future empirical research on the IT generational phenomena.

P-O Fit and Employee's Turnover Intentions: Examining the Mediation of
Employee Engagement in Indian IT Sector
Naman Sharma (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Gandhinagar,
India)
Extant studies have established the relationship between
person-organization fit and turnover intentions of employees. However, this
article aims further to establish the role of employee engagement as a
mediator between these variables. The sample used in the study consists of
employees from Indian IT sector and data is analyzed with the help of
correlation and regression analysis to test both direct and mediating
effects. Results obtained confirm the partial role of employee engagement
in mediating the above variables in context of Indian IT sector. The study
confirms that person-organization fit affects the decision of employees to
stay/not to stay with their organization and also that employees with
higher levels of employee engagement would be less likely to leave their
employer.
