Quick summary of the CS for All call on Monday 4/9

* - Commitments should be written May 1st to July 16th- last year's
emphasis tended towards rural, this year might lean towards inclusivity/
disabilities, but all ideas are welcome as long as they are measurable,
specific, and new.- they're also interested in ideas for cybersecurity
blended with CS and ethics*

Here's a link to college courses

that include a focus on tech ethics

Of special interest at the bottom of the notes
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RsriZNbSYN9bCMGZoBxipJlH-4u5-jlsiXResAw-suA/edit>
is
a video and map of Virginia "the digital domain" that are quite well done.
It'd be interesting to know what Montgomery County put together for their
bid for Amazon that put them in the top 10, since a good educational system
with tech was part of the criteria.
Here's another video from Avondale AZ school district CS program.

Also I was on a call with the AP with WE

service project. A free option for integrating service into AP CS-A and 6
other AP courses. From what I saw in the materials downloaded it looks like
they missed the mark because the activities suggested for AP CS-A look like
ECS/CS-P projects from designing websites to advocating for health care and
education with lots about the impacts of technology and the need for equity
of access.
