The Intelligent Decision-Making group at UCI is looking to hire a
post-doctoral researcher with expertise in artificial intelligence.
Current research directions in the group include (see also idm-lab.org)

   *     Robot coordination and planning for large-scale manufacturing
    and warehousing
   *     Efficient navigation planning that trades off between two or
    more objectives
   *     Multi-agent reinforcement learning
   *     Coordination of delivery drones
   *     Causal decision making

The postdoctoral researcher is expected to contribute to one or more of
these efforts. A Ph.D. is required at the start of the job, and
publications in top AI venues are expected. Expertise in robot
coordination on a large scale (such as multi-agent pathfinding),
heuristic search, symbolic planning, probabilistic reasoning and
planning, and/or causal reasoning is helpful.

The position is available immediately, but the starting date is
negotiable. The initial contract will be for two years.
