we have an open PhD position in AI.
The candidate defines their own research project.
We are particularly interested in machine ethics, autonomous systems,
explainability, fairness, automated audit of accountability, or ethical
impact of automated decision-making processes.

The candidate will be associated with the Logic and AI research group
<https://www.uib.no/en/rg/lai>.

The position is for 4 years. Doctoral candidates in Norway are salaried
positions that come with full social and health benefits. The position also
comes with an allocated budget for conference travel.
