CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

Workshop on “AI for Privacy” (AI4P)
in conjunction with European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)
2020
September 4th, 2020 (2-6pm CEST)

https://sites.google.com/view/ai4p2020/

AI4P will be organised as a virtual event, we invite all researchers
interested in AI and privacy topics to participate.

*Managing privacy online continues to be a challenging task.* On one hand,
regulations such as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are coming
into effect with the aim of providing transparency and privacy guarantees
to users. On the other hand, privacy violations are occurring more than
ever. Increasingly, users need intelligent tools that can help them
understand, analyze, and manage privacy online. Artificial Intelligence
(AI) techniques can be used to develop new algorithms or methods to address
this. AI4P will bring researchers from AI and Human-Computer Interaction
(HCI) communities.

*Program:*
AI4P will consist of three main sessions, with both contributing papers and
invited papers: (1) Machine Learning (ML) and Privacy; (2) Agent-based
Privacy; and (3) Context-based Privacy. We will have an exciting talk by
Lorrie Cranor (Director and Bosch Distinguished Professor in Security and
Privacy Technologies, CyLab Security and Privacy Institute
<http://cylab.cmu.edu/>, CMU). The full program can be found at
https://sites.google.com/view/ai4p2020/program.

*Registration:*
This year, ECAI is a virtual event and virtual participation is free. For
