We are going to propose that NSF fund several conferences as part
of its INCLUDES initiative (see https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2017/nsf17111/nsf17111.jsp).
The ultimate goal is to increase the participation and success of
individuals with disabilities in STEM. The capacity-building
institutes will focus on building knowledge and skills for making
research, instruction, activities and products of INCLUDES and
other projects welcoming and accessible to people with
disabilities and how multiple stakeholder groups can collaborate
in support of the project goal. Participants will help create
online materials that can benefit others as they strive to reach
the project goal.

As we finish up the proposal I would like some idea
of who (individuals/organizations) might want to send a
representative to an on-site meeting in Seattle (with expenses
covered by grant funds) and engage in an online community.

an application and registration process will be implemented.
