<div style="background-color:#ffffff"><font face="Lucida Grande">I wanted to let everybody know that Nancy Shapiro asked me to come to the Board of Regents meeting this coming Tuesday -- it turns out that the BoR has to approve any USM-based center, and the
MCCE hadn't been brought to them before. I expect it will all go OK, and hopefully they won't think we were trying to pull one over on them. :-) Nancy (who will give the presentation at the meeting) put together some notes about how the MCCE came to be,
which I updated some and have attached. Let me know if you think any important pieces have been left out or misrepresented.<br>
