"Additionally, the governor will allocate $5 million to fund
teacher training and professional development for computer science
and provide grants to Local Education Agencies and individual
schools for professional learning models and equipment."<br>
<br>
A key question will immediately become, how is that $5M allocated
(over what period of time, and to what entities, for what
purpose)? We've put in a huge amount of groundwork and investment
to work collectively to support the state as a whole, but if we
don't keep up the advocacy, it could very easily all be doled out
in bits and pieces to individual schools and school systems, and
gone before we know it.<br>
