I took notes during the CS4All webinar today where Rhode Island made it
sound like they are making absolutely amazing progress in K-12 CS
education. As soon as school is over I'll troll their site and get more
ideas we can borrow! It's in the 2017 meeting notes folder

Also, for anybody not on the Code.org mailing list, here's info about the
Raise.me microscholarship program
*CS scholarship opportunities with Raise.me*
Raise.me is a college preparedness platform empowering millions of students
to reach their full potential by helping them earn scholarship dollars from
colleges for all the things that set them up to succeed - whether that’s
getting good grades, volunteering in the community or joining
extracurriculars. Raise.me is free for students and high schools and has
over 250 colleges currently offering scholarship dollars, including
Northeastern, Carnegie Mellon University, Harvey Mudd College, ASU, UMBC,
Oberlin, Georgia Tech, and Tulane.
Students will soon be able to earn scholarship dollars from colleges for
taking the Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science exam!
