<div dir="ltr">Dear Colleagues, <br><br>Applications are now open for the <b>UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training in AI for Sustainability (SustAI) at the University of Southampton<span class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif">, UK</span></b>. This four-year, fully funded PhD programme integrates training and research across five themes: AI for Sustainable Operations and Circular Economy, AI for Transportation and Logistics, AI for Sustainable Energy and Buildings, AI for the Natural Environment, and Sustainable AI.  <br><br>The programme offers an enhanced tax-free stipend, tuition fees, and a substantial research budget. Funded positions are available for applicants from the UK, the EU, and <a href="https://www.southampton.ac.uk/study/fees-funding/scholarships/postgraduate-uk/horizon-europe-fee-waiver">Horizon-associated countries</a>, with up to 8 positions for UK applicants (which includes UK nationals and those with indefinite leave to remain in the UK) and up to 4 for those from the EU and Horizon-associated countries. Applicants should have a strong academic background and a keen interest in AI and sustainability. The next application deadline is <b>14 April 2025</b>.
