simulating human teams. The software will in turn be used by a software agent
to provide intelligent guidance to the team so as to improve team performance.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="vertical-align:top"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" class="">Specifically, the post holder will conduct research on creating and
evaluating computational models that can be used to infer the cognitive and
affective dimensions of the human team members’ models of each other, including
a teammate’s attitudes about another team member such as trustworthiness and
their social emotions (anger, guilt, disappointment). Evaluation will include
the collection of data on team performance in a rescue scenario within the
Minecraft environment. Tools for visualising these affective dimensions for
developers will also be explored. The work will involve collaboration with a
large international effort across universities and companies.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="vertical-align:top"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;" class="">Candidates should be qualified to SCQF level 12 (PhD) or alternatively
possess the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience, with
