Interactive systems and novel applications are particularly welcome.</p><p class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 0px 0px 1.2em !important;">Two “Best Demo” awards will be presented recognizing the most innovative demo (i.e., the demo with the most original research contribution) and the best application demo (i.e., the demo with the most impact in a real-world application) respectively.</p><h2 id="topics-of-interest" class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 1.3em 0px 1em; padding: 0px; font-size: 1.4em; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: rgb(238, 238, 238);">Topics of Interest</h2><p class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 0px 0px 1.2em !important;"><strong class="">Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:</strong></p><ul class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 1.2em 0px; padding-left: 2em;"><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">Systems that implement agents in practical application areas such as engineering (e.g., transportation, robotics), societal challenges (e.g., climate, energy), health care, education, and economy (e.g., e-commerce, finance).</li><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">Systems that provide development environments and tools to assist in the specification, design, implementation, and/or testing of agent systems.</li><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">Systems that model, understand, and/or explain the behavior of virtual agents, humans, agent-based simulation systems, and/or social robots.</li></ul><h2 id="submission-requirements" class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 1.3em 0px 1em; padding: 0px; font-size: 1.4em; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: rgb(238, 238, 238);">Submission Requirements</h2><p class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 0px 0px 1.2em !important;">Submissions accepted for the Demo Track will be advertised on the AAMAS website and will be included in the conference proceedings. Each submission must consist of the following elements:</p><ul class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 1.2em 0px; padding-left: 2em;"><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;"><h4 id="paper-maximum-five-pages-" class="" style="margin: 1.3em 0px 1em; padding: 0px; font-size: 1.2em;">Paper (maximum four pages):</h4><ul class="" style="margin: 0px; padding-left: 1em;"><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">Two pages to describe the system to be demonstrated. The authors are encouraged to discuss the application domain, the problem, the underlying scientific/technological challenges, the agent/multi-agent techniques involved, the innovations of the system, and interactive aspects (if any).</li><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">One page (maximum) listing the bibliographic references.</li><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">One page (maximum) describing the list of requirements to present the demo at the conference venue.</li></ul><div class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px !important;">Each paper must be prepared using the AAMAS style files and submitted as in PDF format. Submissions not conforming to the guidelines above may be summarily rejected.</div></li><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;"><h4 id="video-maximum-five-minutes-10mb-" class="" style="margin: 1.3em 0px 1em; padding: 0px; font-size: 1.2em;">Video (maximum five minutes, 10MB):</h4><ul class="" style="margin: 0px; padding-left: 1em;"><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">The paper should contain a URL to a demonstration video of no more than five minutes in duration (MP4, QuickTime or YouTube format) explaining the working of the system.</li><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">The video should be understandable without sound if possible (e.g., include annotations), making it easier to play them at the conference venue (more details below). The video should include (at the beginning and at the end) the title of the demonstration and the track number provided by the submission system.</li><li class="" style="margin: 0.5em 0px;">Submissions should be made through the Demo Track submission system on ConfMaster (<a href="https://aamas.confmaster.net/user/accounts/login/" class="">https://aamas.confmaster.net/user/accounts/login/</a>). Accepted Demo papers will be included in the AAMAS proceedings. Videos of accepted demo papers will be played (with no sound) during breaks and demo sessions to increase visibility. At least one author of each accepted demonstration is required to register and attend the conference to present the work.</li></ul></li></ul><h2 id="selection-process" class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 1.3em 0px 1em; padding: 0px; font-size: 1.4em; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: rgb(238, 238, 238);">Selection Process</h2><p class="" style="font-family: Optima-Regular; margin: 0px 0px 1.2em !important;">The submission and selection process for the Demo Track of AAMAS 2020 will be separate from that of the main conference. Each submission will be assessed by the Program Committee for this track. The authors will receive a brief evaluation report with the notification.
