<p>the Socially-Competent Robotic and Agent Technologies Group, Research Center on Interactive Media, Smart Systems, and Emerging Technologies (RISE)</p>

<p>announce a call for Expression of Interest from individuals wishing to pursue research and/or studies (at an M.Sc. or Ph.D. level, starting in September) in Cognitive Systems, Explainable AI, Interactive Machine Learning, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning,
Natural Language Understanding, and related areas, including applications in a Smart City context.<br>

<p>The ideal candidate should have a computational background, mathematical maturity, software development skills, and prior experience in research, and will have the opportunity to be employed as part of ongoing research projects at OUC or RISE, and be engaged
in R&I activities at RISE.<br>
