Dear all,

I am inviting applications for a postdoctoral researcher to join my
research group at Unisinos in southern Brazil. This is a 34-month position
funded through the PIPD/CAPES program. The research group focuses on
Reinforcement Learning, with current work centered on temporal abstraction
and options frameworks. We explore both theoretical and applied aspects of
RL, with opportunities for research across a variety of domains including
transportations, healthcare, and robotics.

Candidate profile:
* PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
(obtained in the last 7 years)
* Strong research background in RL, ideally with experience in options,
hierarchical RL, or deep RL
* A track record of publications in relevant AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS,
ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, AAMAS)
* Proficiency in coding and experimentation with RL frameworks
* Willingness to reside in the Porto Alegre metro area (RS, Brazil) during
the fellowship
