Call for contributions to ESSA at work at SocSimFest 2025
<https://www.socsimfest.eu/>, taking place online on 20 May 2025 at 11:15
CEST.

Deadline for contributions: 04 May 2025.

Are you currently working on an agent-based modeling project? Do you want
to discuss your work-in-progress model and get expert feedback to improve
your model? With ESSA at work you can have all this in a relaxed, friendly,
and encouraging setting! Here is how it works: You present your work,
invited experts discuss it - with each other (and possibly the audience),
so that you can gather all the insights and information without having to
defend your choices. This unique format and the constructive atmosphere
makes ESSA at work a valuable experience for all participants.

ESSA at work is open to all interested modelers at any career stage. The only
(and key!) requirement is to have a work-in-progress model on which you
would like expert and peer feedback. Models can be at any stage of
development. Those in the early stages of development (e.g., at the design
stage) should still have a clear description of the purpose, scope,
structure and logic of the model.

Interested? Submit your material via the ESSA at work application form by 04
May 2025: https://forms.gle/VYce2vuuMNR7Gjjn8.

Any questions? Contact us at essaatworkgroup at gmail.com.

See you in May!

PS.: Don’t have a work-in-progress, but want to help others showcase
theirs? Consider becoming part of the organizational team! Contact us at
essaatworkgroup at gmail.com and we will tell you all about this opportunity
to actively contribute to the social simulation community.
