Dear all,
We invite you submit your work to the Demo track of the 24th International
Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS-25), to be
held in Detroit, USA.
Best,
Gabriel

Call for Demos
================
The AAMAS Demo track aims to provide opportunities for participants from
academia and industry to present their latest developments in agent-based
software and robotic systems. Novel applications and interactive systems
are particularly welcome. Student researchers are encouraged to submit. A
“Best Demo” will be selected and awarded by the Demo Program Committee.
Demonstrations of interest include:
1. Systems implementing agents in real-world applications in areas such as
transportation, robotics, grid, e-commerce, health care, energy, etc.
2. Systems using agents in virtual settings, which include simulation
systems, virtual reality, and games.
3. Systems supporting the development of agents, which include development
environments and tools to assist developers in the specification, design,
implementation, and testing of agent systems.
Accepted Demo papers will be included in the AAMAS proceedings. Videos of
accepted demo papers will be played during breaks and the demo sessions to
provide maximum visibility to the systems.
At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and
attend the conference to give a live demo.
== Important Dates ==
Submission deadline: December 19, 2024
Author notification: January 29, 2024
Camera-ready paper submission deadline: February 14, 2025
AAMAS 2025 Demos: May 21-23, 2025
All deadlines are 11:59 PM, GMT.
== Submission Requirements ==
Each Demo submission must consist of a short paper, a video, and, for
student projects, a supervisor endorsement note. In particular, the
submission requirements are the following.
1. Paper. The paper should include a maximum of four pages and be
structured as follows:
a. Pages 1-2 should describe the system to be demonstrated. More precisely,
the authors are encouraged to discuss the application domain, the problem
scenario, the technology used, the agent/multi-agent techniques involved,
the system’s innovations, the system’s live and interactive aspects, etc.
b. Page 3 should include bibliographic references.
c. Page 4 should provide the organisers with a list of requirements for the
demo setting at the conference.
d. Papers must be prepared using the AAMAS 2025 format and submitted as PDF
files. Please note that demo papers do not undergo double-blind reviews,
and therefore, authors are encouraged to include their names and
affiliations. Please do not modify the style files or any of the layout
parameters. The use of LaTeX is mandatory.
2. Video. The paper should contain a URL linking to a demonstration video
of no more than 5 minutes in duration (QuickTime or YouTube format). The
video should include the following elements:
a. Introduction: Introduce the concept/system.
b. Aim: What is the target group for the system?
c. Main features: Present the system’s main features and discuss the
benefits as well as innovations.
d. Development: Architecture overview, agent-based techniques, and
technologies used for development.
e. Demo: Execution of the system that highlights its features and benefits.
3. Supervisor Endorsement (for student projects only). A brief note from
the student’s supervisor describing the student’s contribution to the
project.
Submissions should be made through OpenReview:
https://openreview.net/group?id=ifaamas.org/AAMAS/2025/Demos_Track
Accepted Demo papers will be included in the AAMAS proceedings.
== Selection Process ==
The submission and selection processes for the AAMAS 2025 Demos will be
separate from the main conference’s. Each submission will be assessed by
the Demo Program Committee. The authors will receive a brief evaluation
report with the notification. The evaluation criteria are:
* Relevance to the AAMAS conference
* Significance and originality
* Video content and presentation
* Maturity and readiness for demonstration
* Potential for public interaction
* Potential impact in the intended application domain
