We are happy to announce the 1st International Workshop on Next-Generation Language Models for Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (NeLaMKRR 2024), associated with the 21st International Conference on Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR 2024).
==Workshop Highlights==
- Theme: Exploring the intersection of language models and knowledge representation and reasoning in domains including medicine, law, economics and science.
- Aim: To foster discussions on enhancing reasoning capabilities of language models, knowledge infusion, assessment of reasoning accuracy, and more.
==Call for Contributions==
We invite regular papers (up to 9 pages) and position papers (up to 5 pages) on topics including but not limited to:
- Reasoning abilities in language models
- Knowledge injection and extraction mechanisms
- Techniques for enhancing predictability in language model reasoning
- Domain-specific applications in medicine, law, and science
==Submission Details==
- Format according to KR 2024 guidelines.
- Submit via: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/KR2024/Track/24/Submission/Create
- Peer-reviewed by at least two program committee members.
==Important Dates==
- Submission Deadline: July 28, 2024
- Notification: August 21, 2024
- Registration Deadline: September 4, 2024
- Workshop Dates: November 2-8, 2024
==Workshop Format==
The workshop will include invited talks, oral and poster presentations of papers, and panel discussions, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and promoting networking.
==Target Audience==
This workshop is designed for interdisciplinary researchers and professionals in AI, NLP, and ML, focusing on reasoning and knowledge-intensive applications across various domains.
