aSsisTance (http://altruist21.istc.cnr.it
<http://altruist21.istc.cnr.it>), whichwill be held at the 33rdIEEE
International Conference on Robot and Human Interactive Communication
(RO-MAN 2024), Pasadena, U.S.A., on August 2024.
The workshop aims at pushing the synergetic contributionfrom experts
(scholars, researchers, Ph.D. students, and practitioners) in Artificial
Intelligence and Robotics and other crossing disciplines involved in
developing innovative and effective research and technologies for the
aging society and assistance in general. The workshop will pursue a
multi-disciplinary approach by collecting knowledge and experiences from
heterogeneous disciplines and also experiences from stakeholders in
order to show how efforts from technological and non-technological
actors would add value to the promotion of innovative assistive systems.
The workshop aims at bridging the gap between the health needs of users
and (potentially conflicting) clinical/social requirements of different
stakeholders (e.g., patients, roboticists, engineers, and healthcare
professionals).
