Call For Papers
The IEEE/ACM international conference on Connected Health: Applications,
Systems and Engineering Technologies (CHASE) is a leading international
conference in the field of connected health. CHASE aims to bring together
researchers working in the smart and connected health area around the world
to exchange innovative ideas and begin collaborations. Topics within the
scope of CHASE include sensing, communications, and intelligent analytics
in support of health-related applications, systems, and engineering
technologies. Connected health will revolutionize preventative health and
personalized medicine, providing rich medical information never-before
avaliable to individuals while driving down healthcare costs. Connected
health is at the intersection of many fields including, but not limited to
wearable technologies, data management and security, and sensing
technologies. As such, we encourage contributions from many different
fields and welcome cross-disciplinary work.
This year, IEEE/CHASE 2023 will be held as part of ACM Federated Computing
Research Conference (FCRC 2023 <https://fcrc.acm.org/>), in June 16-23,
2023 in Orlando, Florida, together with other 10 top ACM conferences,
including e-Energy’23, HPDC’23, ISCA’23, IWQoS’23, PADS’23, PLDI’23,
PODC’23, SIGMETRICS’23, SPAA’23, and STOC’23.
Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit their original
contributions covering completed or ongoing work related to the digital,
smart, and connected health area. We also welcome submissions related to
COVID-19 and its mitigation. IEEE/ACM CHASE positions itself as a venue for
science and engineering researchers to publish their research and
discovery, including those that have the potential to enable innovations
but are not yet ready for clinical studies.
Note: IEEE/ACM CHASE 2023 will accept regular, short, workshop, demo, and
poster papers. Regular and short papers will have an option to be published
in either ACM Proceedings or Elsevier Smart Health Journal
<https://www.journals.elsevier.com/smart-health>. The Best Paper Award will
be selected among the accepted full papers. Topics of interest and
submission details are provided on the IEEE/ACM CHASE 2023 website. Student
Travel Awards will be provided to selected students from US-based
institutions.

By submitting your article to an ACM Publication, you are hereby
acknowledging that you and your co-authors are subject to all ACM
Publications Policies, including ACM's new Publications Policy on Research
Involving Human Participants and Subjects. Alleged violations of this
policy or any ACM Publications Policy will be investigated by ACM and may
result in a full retraction of your paper, in addition to other potential
penalties, as per ACM Publications Policy.
Please ensure that you and your co-authors obtain an ORCID ID, so you can
complete the publishing process for your accepted paper. ACM has been
involved in ORCID from the start and we have recently made a commitment to
collect ORCID IDs from all of our published authors. The collection process
has started and will roll out as a requirement throughout 2022. We are
