In the context of the international conference http://www.smile.unina.it/ro-man2022/ RO-MAN 2022 [ http://www.smile.unina.it/ro-man2022/ ]“31st IEEE International Conference on Robot and Human Interactive Communication”, the European funded project Robotics4EU organises the workshop https://www.robotics4eu.eu/events/resp-r/ RESP-R [ https://www.robotics4eu.eu/events/resp-r/ ]“Responsible Robotics: Robots with and for society”. The workshop aims to contribute to the exchange of knowledge between academia and industry on how to better design responsible robots, but also on how to assess the acceptance of these robots by society. This event will bring the opportunity to continue the dialogue on responsible robotics: issues, stakes, impact, good practices, etc.
CALL FOR PAPERS The workshop also hosts a Call for Papers, that aims to encourage the dissemination of innovative tools, actions, and strategies for enhancing the acceptance of robots by society.
Topics of your papers can include, but are not limited to:
* Responsible robotics (good practice, assessment, issues, etc.)
* Ethical issues relative to AI-driven robotics
* Diversity and gender in robotics
* Socio-economic and social inequality issues
* Acceptance/adoption of robotics
* Legal, policy and regulation issues
* Assessment of trust and trustworthiness
* Engagement of society
