Dear Colleagues,

The ADT-21 conference <https://www.irit.fr/ADT2021/> is scheduled to be
held at the University of Toulouse from Nov 3rd to 5th. We are very excited
to announce that a PhD Day will be organized on Nov 2nd.
We heavily encourage you (or your students) to participate!

The PhD Day program will include two tutorials:

- “Computational Social Choice: Some New Directions” by Jérôme Lang
(LAMSADE, University of Paris-Dauphine)
- “Nash Equilibria in Non-Cooperative Games: How to Compute Them?” by Régis
Sabbadin and Paul Jourdan (INRAE, University of Toulouse)

In addition, it will include a session of short presentations (5-7 minutes)
by PhD Students, where they will have the opportunity to share their
research in algorithmic decision theory, game theory, computational social
choice, and related fields.

In this context, we would like to invite you to submit an abstract to
participate in the PhD Day, by filling in this Google Form
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe4iYDKHukdI1Aj55i2Z8tvSwjFQbEVgKcd-kfR4zkkwQAPyA/viewform?usp=sf_link>
by October 5th. In the form you will be asked to provide your contact
information, as well as a short abstract/description of your PhD research
(max 500 words). If your abstract is accepted, you will have to give a
brief talk in the presentation session.
Notification of acceptance will be sent by October 15th 9th at the latest.

Tutorials and presentations are going to be streamed. However, please take
into account that our aim is to host this PhD day as an in-person event.
Just in a few exceptional cases we may allow students to present online.
Please refer to the ADT-21 conference website for more information about
Covid restrictions and access to the University.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of the
organizers of the PhD Day (see e-mail addresses below).

Looking forward to seeing you in Toulouse!
