*Scope and topics of the workshop:*
Recent advancements in computing and communication technologies have
enabled the development of connected healthcare systems that depend
primarily on IoT and Edge technologies. However, the security and privacy
of next-generation smart healthcare systems are of major concern, in order
to provide an efficient rollout of connected healthcare. Futuristic
technologies like Blockchain and Machine Learning (ML) are pioneering
system security solutions and can provide significant support for
healthcare systems. In this context, this workshop will concentrate on the
crucial aspects of IoT security in connected healthcare environments, which
will not only benefit from cutting-edge methodological approaches but also
assist in the rapid scalability and improvement of these systems. It also
aims to use blockchain technology for communication and data security, as
well as trust management, in a smart city IoT environment. The aim of
this workshop is to bring together developers, academics, and professionals
interested in IoT/edge security and privacy developments and applications
for the advancement of connected healthcare systems.
Original research contributions are welcomed in all major fields, including
but not limited to:
- IoT healthcare security and privacy.
- Ultra-lightweight cryptography for healthcare.
- QoE/QoS in healthcare-IoT/edge.
- Healthcare IoT applications using distributed and federated learning.
- Cryptology: Theory and Applications in Healthcare IoT.
- Access management in connected healthcare IoT.
- Detection, Protection, and Prevention in a Cyber Threat-Free
Healthcare IoT environment.
- Simulation and performance evaluation mechanisms for healthcare-IoT
networks
- 5G innovations for IoT in healthcare.
- ML-based healthcare IoT applications.
- Blockchain-based healthcare IoT infrastructures.
- Blockchain security connecting different IoT-healthcare protocols.
- Digital Twin for healthcare IoT systems.
