Candidates whose work is applicable to domains such as cybersecurity, energy, agri-food and healthcare, or who undertake research related to machine learning, explanation, human/machine collaboration, multi-agent systems or natural language technologies are particularly encouraged to apply. Successful applicants are expected to strengthen the department’s existing strengths in these areas. Applicants should have the ambition to work across disciplines and with industry to achieve their research vision as part of the Aberdeen 2040 ‘Data & Artificial Intelligence’ challenge.
