Dear all,

The Spirals team of the Inria Lille - Nord Europe centre is looking for
a talented PhD student to work on a new PhD proposal:

"Coordination for Safe Adaptivity of IoT Systems"

The aim of the proposed project is to develop new software technologies
to enable (self-)adaptivity of IoT systems while reinforcing the safety
of their operation. The obtained results are to be applied and evaluated
in the context of a real industrial IoT system designed for tracking and
management of equipment parks.

The PhD project will be carried out in the context of a CIFRE agreement
between the CRIStAL laboratory (CNRS, University of Lille, Inria Lille -
Nord Europe) and Charlie Solutions — a young start-up based in Lille,
specialising in the management and tracking of equipment parks using an
innovative IoT solution for automated traceability combined with a
Software as a Service (SaaS) platform and a mobile application.

(More information about the CIFRE programme is available through the
link at the end of the e-mail. Two key points: 1. the PhD preparation is
carried out 50%-50% at the laboratory and at an industrial company; 2.
The salary is higher than the other comparable French fellowships.)

Interested students can contact me by e-mail: Simon.Bliudze at inria.fr
