The Individual and Collective Reasoning group (ICR, Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of Luxembourg) led by Prof. Leon van der Torre invites applications for a
Postdoctoral Researcher position
Duration: 24 months contract, full-time (40h/week).
Start: March 2021 (flexible).
Your Role
The ICR group is seeking an outstanding postdoc to strengthen its research team in at least one of the following areas:
- legal analytics;
- logics for AI, especially deontic, epistemic, and action logics;
- automated reasoning.
The postdoc is expected to pursue state-of-the-art research activities in at least one of the areas above, contribute to research proposals, assist in supervision, teaching, and public dissemination activities of the ICR group. There will be a possibility to collaborate with local spin-offs.
Your Profile
- PhD in computer science or any discipline relevant to this area of research
- Expertise in one or more of the areas listed above
- Willingness to contribute to research proposals
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Commitment, creativity, and teamwork skills
