The University of Antwerp, Faculty of Science is seeking to fill a
*full-time *vacancy in the Department of Computer Science for a
*Doctoral student in the area of Software Intelligent Agents and
Multi-agent Systems for the Lifecycle of Smart Cyber-physical
System-of-Systems.*
*Job description*
- You prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of Software Intelligent
Agents and Multi-agent Systems for the Lifecycle of Smart Cyber-physical
System-of-Systems.
- You publish scientific articles related to the research project of the
assignment.
- You contribute to teaching and research in the MICSS Lab, AnSyMo
Group, Department of Computer Science.
*Profile and requirements*
- You hold a master's degree in *Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Software Engineering, IT, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics
Engineering*.
- You can submit outstanding academic results.
- Students in the final year of their degree can also apply.

*What we offer*
- We offer a doctoral scholarship for a period of two years. Following a
positive evaluation, the scholarship can be renewed for another two years
- The planned start date is 1 January 2020 or as soon as possible after
that date.
- Your monthly scholarship amount is calculated according to the scholarship

doctoral scholarship holders on the pay scales for contract research staff
(Dutch: *Bijzonder Academisch Personeel*, BAP).
