Dear all,

Our school is hiring 10 PhD students for our SOCIAL AI programme. The studentships are fully funded and come with funds for travel and research expenses – please note the eligibility criteria below. There are several HCI projects on topics like VR, Multimodal Interaction, Human-Drone Interaction and Human-Robot Interaction.

Eligibility (copied from the website<https://socialcdt.org/application/>): Please note that the UKRI (funding body) regulations state the following: “Normally to be eligible for a full award a student must have no restrictions on how long they can stay in the UK and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least 3 years prior to the start of the studentship”. In addition, “Students from EU countries other than the UK [that have not been resident in the UK for at least 3 years] are generally eligible for a fees-only award. To be eligible for a fees-only award, a student must be ordinarily resident in a member state of the EU”.  It may be possible for alternative arrangements to be made in exceptional cases.
