The International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems
(IFAAMAS, <http://www.ifaamas.org>), the not-for-profit organisation that
sponsors the annual International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent
Systems (AAMAS), has concluded its 7th biennial elections to choose 9 new
members for its 27-member Board of Directors. Each board member will serve a
six-year term.
The newly elected IFAAMAS board members, in alphabetical order, are:
Piotr Faliszewski (AGH University of Science and Technology, Poland)
Fei Fang (Carnegie Mellon University, USA)
Enrico Gerding (University of Southampton, UK)
Sven Koenig (University of Southern California, USA)
Reshef Meir (Technion, Israel)
Svetlana Obraztsova (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore)
Frans Oliehoek (Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands)
Yevgeniy Vorobeychik (Washington University in St. Louis, USA)
Michael Winikoff (Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand)
Eligible voters were those who attended AAMAS at least twice between 2016 and
2019. The elected board members will join the IFAAMAS board in its annual
meeting to take place with AAMAS in May 2020.
