The 19th International Conference on Ad Hoc Networks and Wireless (AdHoc-Now 2020,  http://www.adhocnow2020.it/) will take place in Bari, Italy, on 19-21 October 2020.


AdHoc-Now has become a well-known and well-established event dedicated to wireless and mobile computing. It aims to bring together Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) experts from research institutions, academia, and industry, as well as start-ups and investors. The event also serves as a forum for interesting discussions on ongoing research and novel contributions in the context of wireless and mobile computing.


AdHoc-Now 2020 will consider three special tracks: smart mobility, Internet of Medical Things, and Wireless & Softwarization.
Smart mobility
- Novel network architecture for future urban mobility systems
- Optimized, secure, configurable, and energy-efficient communication protocols for smart mobility
- Interoperability among heterogeneous technologies (IoT, V2X, 5G, B5G, and so on)
- Machine learning approaches applied to smart mobility
- Experimental testbed and demo on recent advancements in the smart mobility domain
Internet of Medical Things
- Network architectures for disease management and assistive technologies for e-health and in-hospital scenarios
- Implanted and on-body networked smart objects
- Optimal and energy-efficient communication protocols for diagnostic, prognostic and recuperation IoT devices;
- Security and Privacy in Internet of Medical Things
- Experimental testbed and demo on recent advancements in the Internet of Medical Things
Wireless & softwarization
- Novel network architectures and communication protocols for software-defined mobile/wireless networks
- Network slice, service management, and multi-tenancy in softwarized networks
- Mobile Edge Computing and network softwarization
- Integration of Software-Defined Networking and Software-Defined Radio
- Testbed, use cases, and applications highlighting the potential of software-defined mobile/wireless networks

Abstract Registration: 5 April 2020
Full Paper Submission Due: 15 April 2020
Notification to the Authors: 1 July 2020
Authors registration and camera-ready: 1 August 2020
End of early bird rates: 1 September 2020
AdHoc-Now Conference 2020: 19-21 October 2020


Papers can be submitted through the Springer OCS system in pdf form. Please, follow the submission link on the web site www.adhocnow2020.it


Extended versions of selected papers and posters will be invited for possible publication to Internet Technology Letters (ITL) - Wiley.
