The University of Aberdeen aims to grow the department of computing science, and is looking to make around 5 appointments at all career levels. In REF2014, the department was ranked 16th in the UK in terms of research intensity, with 75% of our outputs ranked as 3* or 4*, and the department is ranked 29th in the UK according to the Complete University Guide. Appointees will be expected to strengthen the department's research portfolio and build on existing interdisciplinary collaborations in domains including healthcare, transportation, and energy. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach on a broad range of computing science lectures, laboratory classes and tutorials, and undertake administrative duties as necessary.
