We are seeking to recruit a post-doctoral Research Associate to contribute to the project: Multi-Agent Social Simulation.
The post-holder will conduct, manage and publish research in the area of multi-agent based social simulation research and applications.
Specifically the project is focussing on explainable AI in the context of multi-agent systems and simulations, so that individual agents are able to explain their behavior as well as the multi-agent system is able to explain its overall behavior, across agents.
The successful candidate will be part of the University of Glasgow’s artificial social intelligence group, a collaboration between Centre of Social, Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience and Computing Science that is working on software agents, virtual humans and robots capable of social interaction with people. This transdisciplinary effort was recently awarded a large UKRI AI Centre grant for Doctoral Training in artificial social intelligence (https://socialcdt.org/ <https://socialcdt.org/>).
This post is full time and has funding up to 31 August 2020.
Salary: Grade 7, £35,210 - £39,610 per annum
