Call for Special Session in Artificial Intelligence

We would like to invite you to propose your special session/workshop in SCAI 2019 
to be held at Toyama International Conference Center, Toyama, Japan between July 7 to 12, 2019.

7th International Conference on Smart Computing and Artificial Intelligence (SCAI 2019) 
(in conjunction with 8th International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics) 
July 7-12, 2019, Toyama International Conference Center, Toyama, Japan

SCAI 2019 Proceedings will be published by Conference Publishing Services, provided by IEEE Computer Society. 
CPS will submit them to be indexed by INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISI and other indexing services. 
Outstanding papers will be published in 6 post-conference publications.

Workshop and Special Session Proposal: February 10, 2019 Full / Short and Poster paper due: March 25, 2019
Notification: April 15, 2019
Cameraready due: April 30, 2019
Early Registration: April 30, 2019
Conference Dates: July 7-12, 2019

:::Special Session Proposal:::
Please proceed to propose your special session through 
http://www.iaiai.org/conference/aai2019/workshops-and-special-sessions/
To propose the session, organizer's name, contact e-mail address, affiliation, country, 
title of the session, and abstract of session information. 
If you organize your session with your colleagues, 
please indicate all organizers' names in the organizer's name field in the application form. 


:::Conditions and Benefit:::
- Once proposed special session was approved, session organizer(s) advertises your special session to promote paper submission to your session. 
- 4-10 papers are needed in each special session. 
- If the number of presented papers is over 15, your proposed session is handled as workshop in the conference. 
- If the number of presented papers is less than 3, your session might be merged with other session. 
- Outstanding papers might be selected in the best paper awards. 
- Also, based on review score, the extended paper may be recommended to submit journals as post-conference publication. 
- Session organizer(s) must chair your proposed session. 
- The conference issues the certification to each special session. 
- Presenters and special session organizers who attend the conference must register with fee. 


:::Publications:::
All papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers will appear in the Conference Proceedings to be published by IEEE's CPS 
and Conference Proceedings will be submitted to be indexed by EI, INSPEC, DBLP and Thomson ISI. 
Also, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions to the following post-conference publications.

- Information Engineering Express ? International Journal (IEE)
- International Journal of Service and Knowledge Management (IJSKM)
- International Journal of Institutional Research and Management (IJIRM)

- International Journal of Intelligent Internet of Things Computing (IJIITC)

:::Format guidelines for paper submissions:::
We encourage paper submissions in IEEE CS style format. (See the IEEE CS home page:). 
The length of papers is recommended to be 6 pages (full paper),
4 pages(short paper), or 2 pages(poster abstract). 
All submissions must not include the author's name(s), affiliation, complete mailing address, phone number, fax number and email address. 
Papers must be submitted in PDF format. Find the instruction for authors from
