SaCoNet focuses on how smartcommunications and ICT networks impact not only on network technologies(protocols, equipment, algorithms, power, MANET, VANET, etc.), but also oncreating collective and individual awareness about the multiple sustainabilitythreats which our society is facing nowadays at social, environmental andpolitical levels, considering a wide family of applications (healthcare,underwater, vehicular, robotic, economics, hand industries, Oil and Gasindustries, etc). Current trends are to propose new autonomic architectureschemes that manage and control future emerging networks: sky of clouds, Fogs,Internet of things, Smart Grids, Smart Cities, Healthcare, wellnessapplications such as helping elderly people, assisting dependent persons.Another key challenge arises at business level, since existing models do notcover added value services. SaCoNeT solicits papers dealing with SmartCommunications in (not limited to):
        - Next Generation Networks (5Gnetworks, Fog/Cloud-based mobile architectures, SDN, Device-         to-DeviceCommunications, etc.)-  Adhoc, Sensor, Surveillance and Vehicular Networks (IoT, IoV, Context awarenetworks, Energy and Harvesting optimization, Real-time network, etc.)- Autonomicand Robot based Networks (Design autonomous robotic systems, Assistive robotictechnology, Autonomous manipulation using service robots, etc.)
- Applications and client overview (Data mining /Image processing in networks,Software engineering in networks, Big data analysis, Secure and scalablenetwork applications, E-Health, Telemedicine, Oil and Gas industries, etc.) PaperSubmission: 
Authors areinvited to submit original papers with unpublished material and not currentlysubmitted for consideration elsewhere via EDAS on the following link: https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=24912.  Allsubmissions are peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers. All accepted andpresented papers will be submitted to be indexed by IEEE digital library (IEEEXplore). Extendedversions of selected papers will be published in a:
