[agents] Results of the IFAAMAS Board Election

The International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems
(IFAAMAS, <http://www.ifaamas.org>), the not-for-profit organisation that
sponsors the annual International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent
Systems (AAMAS), has concluded its 6th biennial elections to choose 9 new
members for its 27-member Board of Directors. Each board member will serve a
six-year term.

The newly elected IFAAMAS board members (alphabetically by last name) are:

Christopher Amato (Northeastern University, USA)
Haris Aziz (Data61 & UNSW, Australia)
Sanmay Das (Washington University in St. Louis, USA)
Ya'akov (Kobi) Gal (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel)
Catholijn Jonker (TU Delft, the Netherlands)
Ann Nowé (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium)
Jaime Sichman (University of São Paulo, Brazil)
Long Tran-Thanh (University of Southampton, UK)
William Yeoh (Washington University in St. Louis, USA)

Eligible voters were those who attended AAMAS at least twice between 2014 and
2017. Out of the 343 eligible voters, 217 submitted valid ballots. The elected
board members will join the IFAAMAS board in its annual meeting to take place
with AAMAS in Stockholm, July 2018.
