Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Due to many requests, the submission deadline has been pushed to January
8th, 2018.

You are invited to submit a regular paper (6 pages) or a short paper (4
pages) to the International Workshop on Processing and Retrieving
Video-based Content for e-Learning (PROVCE’18)
<https://sites.google.com/view/provce-2018>, which is held in conjunction
with IEEE 1st Int. Conf. on Multimedia Information Processing and Retrieval
(IEEE MIPR’2018) <http://www.ieee-mipr.org/>. The conference will be held
in Miami, USA, April 10-12, 2018.

PROVCE’18 <https://sites.google.com/view/provce-2018> provides forum for
discussion between researchers, practitioners and students interested in
new developments in video-based e-Learning technologies and systems.
Although using video based lectures is a merit to the e-learning
environment, yet it has created many challenges to the learners. These
challenges include the ability to search within the video file, retrieving
different learning attributes from video content, and indexing and matching
video files to specific features describing the video content. PROVCE’18
will offer an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to share their
recent and valuable findings in this exciting and challenging field.

IEEE MIPR will be presenting a Best Paper award and a Best Student Paper
award. The best paper will be selected by separate committee and will be
the one that reports the most novel and promising research work that has a
high potential impact in the real world. Also, selected submissions will be
invited to submit an extended version of their papers to journal special
issues.

Accepted papers will be published and indexed by IEEE Xplore
