Call For Papers

First International Workshop on "Enabling Technologies in Robotics
Sensors"
(Co-located with the Seventh International Conference on Innovative
Computing Technology (INTECH 2017)
Luton, UK. August 16-18, 2017
Also at Porto, Portugal, July 12-13, 2017
(www.dirf.org/intech) (www.dirf.org/intechporto)
(Technically Co-sponsored by IEEE, UK & RI)

Infusing human features in Robots lead to the advancement of the
Robotics. Accelarated growth in the robotics research is visulaized now
in different forms and directions. Robots, when have advanced sensors
will enable to function in a biomimetic way. Hence, the sensor-infused
robotics are able to mark breakthrough in robotics research. The
robotics sensing platforms go beyond boundaries and organized
envirionments and delimit the tasks. The sensor-driven robots can work
with complexity, multi-task environment and extensive capabilities. The
potential for robotic sensors lies with many features such as software
and hardware, complex algorithms, enhanced interfaces and so on. Thus,
to make it known the innovative research in robotic sensors we designed
and planned this workshop as the part of INTECH 2017. Topics discussed
in the proposed workshop are

-Active and Passive Sensors
-Tactile Sensors
-Sensors Performance
-Actuators and Controllers
-Internal and External Sensors
-Touch, Proximity Sensors
-Sensors in different applications
-Multi-Robot Allocation Problems
-Data-driven Robotics
-Mobile Robotics
-Dynamic Vision Sensors
-Quadrotors
-Sensors based navigation
-Human-robot interactions
-Software architectures, tools, and systems
-Mapping, localization, path-planning, and navigation
