We would like to encourage you to participate in our Workshop on industrial human robot interaction at RO-MAN 2017.

During the Workshop we will discuss the possibility to bring your research results into an industrial context. After short presentations of all accepted papers the main focus of the Workshop will be expert discussions of next steps to adapt the results for specific industrial needs successfully.

Submission
The main focus of this workshop is to discuss all the proposed ideas/papers together and to help the author to generate project from the proposed ideas. The organizers and keynote speaker have a high expertise with industrial partners and with all challenges addressing the various aspects of interaction between human and industrial robots.

List of topics
* Co-operative and Collaborative Human-Machine Systems for Manufacturing *New enhancing safety functions for the current status of ISO Robotics Standards or future directions in relating to HRI.
*Vocal and gesture commands and physical contacts in industrial applications. Communication between human and industrial robot *Robot navigation in industrial environments *Evaluation methods for HRI workplaces and process (productivity, flexibility etc.), Benchmarking and objectively & quantitatively evaluating performance of robots during the cooperation with human.
*Ergonomics of HRI (Physical, Intensity of signals, alarms, visual field etc.) *Vision and control of industrial robots for HRI applications.
*Novel Sensing and grasping technologies for HRI *Interfaces for real-time path planning and collision avoidance.
*HRI design
*Case Studies, Experiments, Ethics and Outreach
