Applications are invited for two three-year postdoctoral positions in the Department of Informatics at King's College London (UK). The positions are funded by an EPSRC-funded project entitled CONSULT: Collaborative Mobile Decision Support for Managing Multiple Morbidities. CONSULT is an interdisciplinary project involving investigators from the Department of Informatics and the Department of Primary Care and Public Health Sciences, King’s College London (http://www.kcl.ac.uk/), in conjunction with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust (http://www.guysandstthomas.nhs.uk/). CONSULT aims to develop a proof of concept collaborative mobile decision-support system to help patients suffering from chronic diseases (in particular stroke) to self-manage their treatment. The system will integrate data from diverse electronic and human sources and apply implemented models of argumentation-based decision making so as to propose and explain actions for self-management of patients' health and wellbeing.
