Two Senior Research Associate (senior postdoctoral) positions are currently
open in the EPSRC-funded project Turtles: Protocol-Based Foundations for
Distributed Multiagent Systems.  Both positions are in the School of
Computing and Communications at Lancaster University and last 30 months.

The successful candidates will undertake exciting and ambitious research in
the area of decentralized systems that support social interactions between
autonomous parties. The project involves elements of theory (norms and
protocol languages and their verification), systems (information
abstractions and middleware), programming models (for building agents),
methodologies (for specifying protocols and agents), and applications
