[agents] Results of the Election for the IFAAMAS Board of Directors

The International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multiagent 
Systems (IFAAMAS, <http://www.ifaamas.org>), the not-for-profit 
organisation that sponsors the annual International Conference on 
Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS), has concluded its 5th 
biennial elections to choose 9 new members for its 27-member Board of 
Directors. Each board member will serve a six-year term.

The newly elected IFAAMAS board members (alphabetically by last name) are:

Noa Agmon (Bar Ilan University, Israel)
Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni (University of Pierre and Marie Curie, France)
Nicola Gatti (Politecnico di Milano, Italy)
Matthijs Spaan (Delft University of Technology, Netherlands)
Gita Sukthankar (University of Central Florida, USA)
John Thangarajah (RMIT, Autralia)
Kagan Tumer (Oregon State University, USA)
Pradeep Varakantham (Singapore Management University, Singapore)
Gerhard Weiss (Maastricht University, Netherlands)

Eligible voters were those who attended AAMAS at least twice between 
2012 and 2015. Out of the 433 eligible voters, 288 submitted valid 
ballots. The elected board members will join the IFAAMAS board in its 
annual meeting to take place with AAMAS in Singapore, May 2016.
