Call for Submissions
IEEE CCNC 2017 is organized with the objective of bringing together researchers, professionals, developers and practitioners from academia and industry working in all areas of consumer technologies.		
Special Session Proposals: Due 1 April 2016
Proposals are sought that complement the regular program with new or emerging topics that are of particular interest to the consumer communications and networking community. Proposals on emerging or disruptive topics guaranteed to generate significant interest in the community will be selected.
Workshop Proposals: Due 1 April 2016
Proposals are sought on any topic related to all areas of consumer communications and networking. The ideal workshop proposal should focus on a specific area of significant current interest, and be able to attract a number of high-quality submissions. Proposals on emerging or disruptive topics guaranteed to generate significant interest in the community will be selected.
Technical Papers: Due 15 June 2016
Submissions are welcomed in the following areas in consumer communications networking.
- Social, P2P and Multimedia Networking, 
  Services and Applications
- Cloud Services and Networking
- Networking and Applications in 
  Computer Games
- Wireless Communications
- Wireless Networking and Mobility
- Emerging Consumer Communications 
  and Networking
- Sensing, Smart Spaces and IoT
- Security, Privacy and Content Protection
- Mobile and Wearable Devices, Services 
  and Applications
- Consumer Communications and Networking 
  Standards
- Vehicular Communications and Applications 
  in Water, Land and Sky
- QoE and Human Centered Communications 
  and Application 
 

Authors of selected papers of the conference will be invited to submit
an extended/revised version of their work to special issues of
IEEE Communications Magazine, Computer Communications,
Journal of Communications or Mobile Networks and Applications. 
 
Tutorial Proposals: Due 31 July 2016
Proposals are sought that cover a wide range of topics and levels — ranging from fundamentals to the latest advances in hot topic areas. Topics include all areas related to consumer communications and networking.
Demonstration Proposals: Due 18 September 2016
Proposals are welcomed on emerging and innovative technologies that have potential commercial application from nascent and incubating companies. A technology prototype can range from a mockup using computers (instead of actual consumer devices) to a full-fledged collection of networked consumer devices.

For accepted demos, there will be a unique opportunity for a small number of demonstrations to be shown at the International CES 2017 in the IEEE Booth.
