The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Paris Descartes
University (France) is seeking applications from candidates with a strong
research track record for one assistant professor (“maître de conferences ”)
position. The successful applicant will integrate the Laboratory of
Informatics Paris Descartes (LIPADE) and especially the Distributed
Artificial Intelligence Group (DAI) and will contribute to research in the
domain of Intelligent Agents and  Multi-Agent Systems.  Applicants for this
position must have a PhD  in one of the following areas: computational
argumentation, automated negotiation, multi-agent planning, agent oriented
software engineering. They must also have a strong publication record, and
the ability to attract research funding. Language skills in French will be a
positive element.
