SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES
With the recent advancements in mobility, cloud computing, video and data centers, support of Internet of Things (IoT), Machine to Machine (M2M) as well as service and network management applications and algorithms are more important than ever. The number of devices connected to the internet has already surpassed 8 billion and is expected to reach 50 billion in 2020. IoT, service and network management systems and M2M protocols are becoming more complex due to the interconnection between different technologies and architectures across various software platforms. No single technology or architecture will be able to smoothly interface such complex systems into a unified network of all networks. New applications will be supported by these complex systems through hierarchical middleware software platforms. These services will no longer be independent static sources of content, but instead will have intelligent software to adapt those sources to varying network conditions, technologies, and platforms. This will be achieved through another intelligent layer of cognitive middleware, capable of interfacing these services to the underlying network technologies. New services must receive information about the network and adaptively tune their transport parameters, as well as bit-rates according to the underlying networking conditions/technologies. New services and contents will need to understand networking traffic parameters, and react accordingly in order to maintain uninterrupted traffic flows across the network and avoid ill-conditioned behaviors.

The scope of this workshop is to address the research and development efforts of the aforementioned issues in the area of Internet of Things applications, Machine to Machine protocols and systems, intelligent service and network management for next generation networks. This includes services for collaboration among multiple entities and users in composite, integrated, and federated settings. In particular, we are interested in papers dealing with the state-of-the-art design and analysis, implementation and experimental results of cognitive and intelligent software agents/services and applications as well as novel architectures for intelligent content delivery.

PAPER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
You are invited to submit original and unpublished research works on above and other topics related to Internet of Things, M2M, intelligent services and network management for next generation networks. Submitted papers must not have been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Submission should include a cover page with the authors' names, affiliation addresses, fax numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses. Please, indicate clearly the corresponding author and include up to 6 keywords from the above list of topics and an abstract of no more than 400 words. The full manuscript should be at most 8 pages using the two-column IEEE format. Additional pages will be charged an additional fee. Short papers (up to 4 pages), poster papers and posters (please refer to http://cts2015.cisedu.info/home/posters for the posters submission details) will also be accepted for submission. Please include page numbers on all preliminary submissions to make it easier for reviewers to provide helpful comments.

Submit a PDF copy of your full manuscript via the Workshop link at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iot20150. If the submission is for a short paper, a poster paper, or a poster, please indicate that on the manuscript as well.

Only PDF files will be accepted, uploaded to the Workshop link above. Each paper will receive a minimum of three reviews. Papers will be selected based on their originality, relevance, technical clarity and presentation. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper, if accepted. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their papers will be registered and presented at the workshop.

Accepted papers will be published in the Conference proceedings. Instructions for final manuscript format and requirements will be posted on the CTS 2015 Conference web site. It is our intent to have the proceedings formally published in hard and soft copies and be available at the time of the conference. The proceedings are expected to be included in the IEEE Digital Library and indexed by major indexing services accordingly.

If you have any questions about paper submission or the workshop, please contact the workshop organizers.
