June 3rd-5th 2015, Salamanca, Spain

------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
------------------------------
Many of the systems that can be found in our environment can be modeled
as complex adaptive systems that consists of a dynamic network of agents
(which may represent individuals, businesses, services, resources).
These agents perform a set of activities in parallel and react to the
actions of other agents. Multi-agent systems are considered a suitable
tool for the study of complex adaptive systems and specially those that
are distributed and dynamic. The Workshop MAS for Complex Networks and
Social Computation is focused on providing a forum for researchers from
academia that belong to different disciplines and methodological
backgrounds. In this forum, they will be able to discuss ideas, research
questions, recent results, and future challenges in this emerging area
of research.
Specific topics for this workshop include, but are not limited to:
* Social computing
* Complex networks
* Bio-inspired complex systems
* Social network analysis
* Sensor networks
* Urban systems and networks
* Self-organizing dynamics on complex networks
* Social contagion processes
* Collective belief formation and revision
* Information diffusion
* Group formation, evolution and behavior analysis.
* Community detection
* Social simulation, cultural, opinion, and normative dynamics.
* Agent-based simulation of social systems.
* Search in complex networks
* Incentives and complexity in social networks
* Social problem solving
* Complex network robustness and vulnerability
Accepted and presented papers at the workshop will be published in PAAMS
2015 Proceedings, published by LNCS/LNAI of Springer Verlag. We are
currently negotiating an special issue in an ISI-indexed journal.
