===== CALL FOR PAPERS =====
The Special Track on Agent Systems, Intelligent Computing and Applications, held at the 6th International
Conference on Ambient Systems, Networks and Technologies, provides an international forum for experts that
are involved in research and development of multi-agent systems, intelligent computing, and autonomous
applications.

===== SCOPE =====

Software development is aggravated by many factors, one of them is the ever increasing requirement
for handling complex use cases in distributed scenarios. Support for such kind of applications
is significantly driven by the true wealth of (mobile) devices with computation capacity.
In order to facilitate the development of complex applications, different paradigms and technologies
have been developed for handling distribution on the one and intelligence on the other hand.
Well-known approaches include e.g. multi-agent systems, service oriented architectures,
learning and bio-inspired mechanisms.

This special track aims to bring together experts that are involved in the development of
distributed and intelligent systems in an international forum. In this forum, we aim to discuss current problems,
trends, requirements, and frontiers regarding the development of intelligent distributed applications.

Therefore, we solicit papers addressing the engineering of technologies, methodologies, frameworks
and tools that support and facilitate the development of agent oriented software applications. Topics
of interest include but are not limited to the following:

Intelligent Distributed Architectures
- Hybrid systems involving software agents and human actors
- Intelligent cloud infrastructures
- Agent-based wireless sensor networks
- Distributed frameworks and middleware for the Internet of Things
- Context-aware intelligent computing
- Agent and service technology including programming languages and frameworks

Intelligent Distributed Applications
- Distributed problem solving and decision making
- Intelligent applications in e-business/e-commerce, e-learning, e-health, e-science, e-government, crisis management
- Modeling and simulation of intelligent distributed systems
- Intelligent data processing
- Intelligence in mobile and ubiquitous computing
- Intelligence in peer-to-peer systems

Organization and Management
- Autonomic and adaptive distributed computing
- Intelligent service composition and orchestration
- Self-organizing and adaptive distributed systems
- Emerging behaviors in complex distributed systems
- Intelligent integration of heterogeneous data and processes
- Methodologies for development of intelligent distributed systems and applications

===== SUBMISSION AND PROCEEDINGS =====

All accepted papers will be scheduled for oral presentations and will be included in the conference proceedings
published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series on-line. At least one author
of each accepted paper is required to register and attend the conference to present the work.

The submitted paper must be formatted according to the guidelines of the Procedia Computer Science
template (http://cs-conferences.acadiau.ca/ant-14/ecrc-procs.rar). The submitted technical papers must
be no longer than eight pages in length, including all figures, tables and references. Authors are requested to
submit their papers electronically using the online conference management system in PDF format before
the deadline (see important dates). The submission processes will be managed by easychair.org. If you have
used this system before, you can use the same username and password. If this is your first time using EasyChair,
you will need to register for an account by clicking "I have no EasyChair account" button. Upon completion of
registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You
can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date.

The selective outstanding papers presented at the workshops, after further revision, will be considered for
publication in journals special issues.
