Applications are invited for this fixed-term post which is initially offered for one year in the first instance. The person appointed will undertake research in the area of agents and multi-agent systems and in particular in projects on socioeconomic and cognitive models of agents and simulated electronic marketplaces with Prof Maria Fasli.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the area of multi-agent systems, socioeconomic and cognitive models of agents and agent-based simulation, and a strong programming background. Candidates should be graduates of computer science or information systems and be in possession of a good postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in Artificial Intelligence.
