*PAAMS 2014 Special Session - COREMAS*

*- Cooperative and re-configurable MultiAgent System for Industrial
Environments***
***
http://paams.net/special-sessions/SS4-COREMAS

Markets are currently imposing very strong requirements, demanding
customized products with shorter delivery times and shorter life-cycles,
forcing companies to adapt their processes by having flexible,
reconfigurable production plants, which leads to the challenge of having
systems that exhibit better re-configurability, robustness and
responsiveness.
The new domain, called Physical Internet, proposes to bring new
methodologies and tools issued from the Digital Internet to deal with
the routing of smart container of product.

This session is seeking contributions providing requirements,
challenges, methods, tools, techniques, experiences, demonstrations and
roadmaps that will help the industry assess the application of
cooperative agent technology in manufacturing, logistics and services
domains. Particular attention may be given to the industrial
applications of such systems.

-- *DEADLINES* --

Submission date : 27th January, 2014
Notification date : 24th February, 2014
Camera-ready deadline : 10th March, 2014
Conference dates : 4th-6th June, 2014

-- *Topics* --
We seek contributions providing requirements, challenges, methods,
tools, techniques, experiences, demonstrations and roadmaps that will
help the industry assess the application of cooperative agent technology
in manufacturing, logistics and services domains.

Specifically, the special session topics include, but are not limited to:
- Physical Internet,
- Distributed Control,
- fault-recovery in multi-agent systems,
- models of cooperation and coordination for autonomous agents,
- predicting and controlling emergence of behavior in multi-agent systems,
- self-adaptation of roles and/or services in multi-agent systems,
- delegation tasks, reconfiguration tasks in multi-agent systems,
- case studies that shows self-adaptation or self-organization in
multi-agent systems,
- models of self-management for multi-agent systems,
- models and meta-models of self-organizing multi-agent systems,
- Power and Energy Systems (Smart Grids).

-- *Submitting Papers* --

All papers must be formatted according to the Advances in Intelligent
and Soft Computing Series Springer template, with a maximum length of: 8
pages in length, including figures and references for the PAAMS 2014
Special Sessions.

The template can be downloaded here :
- WORD : http://www.paams.net/sites/default/files/word.zip
- LaTeX : http://www.paams.net/sites/default/files/latex.zip

All proposed papers must be submitted in electronic form (PDF format)
using the PAAMS 2014 conference management system:
https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=paams14

-- *Publication* --

Accepted papers will be included in a volume of the PAAMS 2014
Proceedings, published in the Advances in Intelligent and Soft-Computing
series of Springer.
At least one of the authors per paper will be required to register and
attend the symposium to present the paper in order to include the paper
in the conference proceedings. All accepted papers will be published by
Springer Verlag.

-- *Grants/Awards* --

The BISITE research group (http://bisite.usal.es) of the University of
Salamanca, organiser of PAAMS 2014, offers 40 grants/awards to
facilitate the attendance to doctoral and young doctors both to the
event itself (including Workshops and Special Sessions) and to the
parallel collocated events.
