The PRISCA Laboratory (Projects of Intelligent Robotics and Advanced Cognitive Systems) is seeking applicants for a research position. PRISCA is a joint lab of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and the Department of Physical Science at the University of Napoli “Federico II”.

Applications are invited from candidates with Master or a PhD in Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or other relevant disciplines. Candidates are expected to have research expertise in some aspect of multi-agent systems, agent-based simulation, game theory, or related areas. The candidate should have the potential to carry out independent research and to apply techniques from game theory, mechanism design, and multi-agent systems to complex real-world problems.

The research to be carried out will be in the context of the project ORCHESTRA (Organization of Cultural Heritage for Smart Tourism and Real Time Accessibility) in cooperation with ICT industries, founded by the Italian Ministry.

Candidates must have a background in software programming.
