Dear Colleagues:



WUWNet'13 will be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Nov 11-13, 2013. WUWNet is the
premier venue for research and development bringing real-time, in-situ
sensing and actuation to this aquatic world. The goal of this conference is
to bring together researchers and practitioners in areas relevant to
underwater networks and systems.

You are invited to submit *Work-In-Progress (WIP) posters*  and *Demos* to
the conference. Yes, you still have time to contribute.

The WIP Poster submission deadline is October 28, 2013. The WIP poster
session aims to provide a forum for researchers to showcase their
innovative and emerging work and to obtain early feedback on ongoing
research from the conference attendees. We welcome interesting intermediate
results of undergoing research, promising progresses, and educational
overview, related to underwater networks and systems.

Poster Submission Instructions:

Please submit an extended abstract (no more than 2 pages) of your poster as
a PDF e-mail attachment to <chenhf at zju.edu.cn> or <zhaohuiw at mtu.edu> with a
subject line reading “WUWNet Poster Submission” before the deadline. Please
be as specific as possible in describing what you will show. Accepted
abstracts will be posted and maintained on the conference website, but not
published in the proceedings.

The demo session will provide opportunities for researchers to showcase
innovative research, applications, and hardware/software products.
Demonstrations of technology, platforms, applications and products for all
aspects of underwater networks, communications, and models are of strong
interest. Submissions from both industry and universities are encouraged.

Demo Submission Instructions:

Submit an extended abstract (no more than 2 pages) of your demo as a PDF
e-mail attachment to: hcb at nwpu.edu.cn and xiaoka at engr.uconn.edu using the
following subject line: WUWNet Demo Submission.

Please, be as specific as possible in describing what you will demonstrate
or exhibit. The extended abstract must include a short description of space
and equipment requirements.

Accepted abstracts will be posted and maintained on the conference website.
